The LBATC practices the Minnesota Model of treatment in order to achieve the best therapeutic results possible. Our multi-disciplinary team includes professional health care staff and recovery assistants (Counselors) Our treatment centre promotes the 12 step AA and NA programme and focuses on the disease model. It is particularly useful in helping patients to achieve an understanding of their powerlessness when they are using their drug of choice or any mood or mind altering substance, the progressive nature of the illness and the escalation therefore of their damages. Herein we include:

	Mild physical exercise
	Meditation and self affirmation techniques

	Audio Visual Presentations (Dissemination of information)

	NA/AA Meetings and outside speakers.
